This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated driver looking for temporary work with the potential for ongoing assignments.Key Responsibilities:• Completing trunking runs between depots and customer locations• Assisting with manual handling duties where required• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time• Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and using digital systems where required• Adhering to all road traffic regulations, driver hours legislation, and company policies• Liaising effectively with the transport office and colleagues throughout the working dayWhat We're Looking For:• A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence• A valid Driver CPC qualification• A valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card• Previous HGV driving experience is preferred but not essential• A good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties• Strong communication and customer service skills• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independentlyIf you're looking for a rewarding driving role with competitive pay and the opportunity to join a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.To apply for this position, visit workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
