Summary

Capstan Setter - Permanent Role

Location: Wolverhampton

Pay: £14.00 - £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Contract: Permanent from Day One

The Best Connection is recruiting on behalf of our established manufacturing client for an experienced Capstan Setter to join their skilled engineering team on a permanent basis from day one.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering stable, long-term employment with a regular day shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting and operating Capstan lathes.

Producing high-quality precision components to specification.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment.

Maintaining machines and ensuring a safe, tidy working environment.

Working to production targets while maintaining high quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience setting Capstan lathes is essential.

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Reliable, motivated and able to work independently.

Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.

Permanent contract from your first day.

Competitive hourly rate of £14.00 - £15.00, depending on experience.

Monday to Friday working hours (08:00 - 16:00).
