Summary

Production & Assembly Operatives – Temp to Perm – August 2026 Start Dates

Location: Rochdale

Pay Rate: £12.74 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours Rotating Shifts (Monday to Friday) 6:00am – 2:00pm & 2:00pm – 10:00pm

. Occasional 8:00am – 5:00pm shifts available.

The Role :

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives, Assembly Operatives, and Manufacturing Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Rochdale.

August 2026 starts are now available, with immediate opportunities for suitable candidates following a successful site induction.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in production, assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or factory environments who are looking for long-term employment with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract.

Working as part of a busy production team, you will be responsible for assembling products, preparing materials, carrying out quality checks, and supporting the manufacturing process to ensure production targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and bond components to manufacturing specifications.

• Prepare products through sanding, finishing, and other production processes.

• Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.

• Operate safely within a manufacturing and production environment.

• Support production lines to achieve daily output targets.

• Complete general factory and assembly duties as required.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area.

• Follow all Health & Safety and quality procedures.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Previous experience as a Production Operative, Assembly Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Warehouse Operative, Machine Operative, or similar.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• A reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.

• Availability to attend a site induction before starting work.
