Summary

Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Hereford, is seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. - Up to £45,000 basic salary, with an OTE of £55,000 per annum

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pm

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Perform fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards

- Accurately diagnose faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance

- Ensure strict adherence to quality procedures as a Vehicle Technician

- Maintain consistent high standards in a busy franchise environment

- Support the Service Department in meeting efficiency and quality targets

- Optional: Hold an active MOT licence (training provided if not already possessed)

- Contribute to team targets and uphold excellent customer service standards

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair

- Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Hereford

- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Demonstrate commitment, professionalism, and the ability to produce high-quality work

- Team player with good communication skills

- Motivated to work towards individual and team targets

- An active MOT licence is advantageous but not essential, as full training is provided
