Summary

The Nelson Trust is an award-winning charity that brings belief, hope and long-term recovery to people affected by addiction and multiple disadvantages.

We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Fundraising and Events Assistant to join our Business Development Team at an exciting stage of growth. This varied and rewarding role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting fundraising events and helping to raise awareness of our mission. You'll play a key role in engaging supporters, delivering fundraising activities and generating the income needed to help transform lives.

Salary: £24,500 - £25,500 per annum (pro rata)

Hours: 21 hours per week (3 days)

Location: Gloucestershire (Hybrid office/home working)

What will you do

Support the delivery and development of fundraising activities and campaigns across the organisation

Assist with the planning and delivery of fundraising events, including stakeholder liaison and event-day support

Build and maintain positive relationships with supporters, donors, fundraising groups and corporate partners

Create engaging fundraising materials, newsletters, promotional content and supporter communications

Maintain accurate supporter records within the CRM system and support data quality and reporting activities

Identify new fundraising opportunities and help raise awareness of The Nelson Trust's services and impact
