Summary

**The role is required 8.30-4.30 to support the loan and return of digital equipment. Although based at Moreton Morrell, you will be required to travel to Leamington regularly to provide support to the course teams based there (one day a week, negotiable). There is potential to work from home one day a week, to be agreed on appointment.**

ROLE SUMMARY

Provisions across Royal Leamington Spa, Moreton Morrell and Pershore Colleges requires support for students and staff, and the post-holder will perform a wide range of activities which contribute to the success and compliance of our

higher education provision. The post-holder will also support the HE Senior Administrator with a range of administrative tasks.

The post-holder will be based at Moreton Morrell College.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Administration

● Undertake administrative tasks as directed by the HE Senior Administrator.

● Support Pastoral Tutors with the attendance monitoring process.

● Liaise with teaching teams and HE students to ensure the effective delivery of practical and technical support.

● Support the examinations process by recording and archiving digital documents,

acting as a runner for examination days, and undertaking invigilator duties.

● Act as a social media champion in coordination with the Marketing team.

● Help support the smooth running of HE Graduation.

● To attend college delivered ‘Teaching Essentials’ training

B. Support for Teaching and Learning

● Loan and maintain digital film and photographic equipment, providing support

for students. Arrange for the maintenance of specialist veterinary equipment.

● Support HE land-based students with the recording and post-production of video

extracts for dissertations and practical projects generally involving animals such as

horses or dogs.

● Liaise with members of the HE teaching team to record and provide post-production of practical training sessions that will be used in teaching.

● Record student skills logs and hours for relevant professional bodies.

● Engage with relevant College systems and processes at all times.

ESSENTIAL ATTAINMENTS

● Educated to Level 3

● GCSE grade A-C or equivalent qualification in Maths and English.

● Strong Administrative skills, including IT skills.

● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
