The Opportunity
Are you a dedicated Early Years professional looking for a leadership role where you can truly make a difference?
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded, inclusive day nursery in Bradford. Due to setting expansion and internal promotions, we have two exciting leadership opportunities available: a Baby Room Leader and a Pre-School Room Leader.
Whether your passion lies in nurturing the development of our youngest learners or preparing pre-schoolers for their exciting transition to primary school, we have a role where your leadership skills can shine.
Choose Your Path:
Option 1: Baby Room Leader
Take ownership of a warm, welcoming baby room, focusing on vital early developmental milestones.
Lead on specialized care routines, sensory learning, and fostering strong, reassuring bonds with parents and carers during their child's first nursery experience.
Option 2: Pre-School Room Leader
Drive a vibrant, stimulating pre-school environment focused on school readiness.
Coordinate directly with primary school teachers, manage developmental trackers, and build a curriculum that prepares older children for their transition to full-time education.
Core Responsibilities (Both Roles):
Team Leadership: Mentor, support, and inspire your team of Early Years Practitioners. Conduct supervisions, peer observations, and continuous performance management.
Curriculum & Quality: Champion the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Lead the planning, observation, and assessment processes to ensure every child makes excellent progress.
Key Person Duties: Act as a Key Person, maintaining exceptional standards of inclusive care and keeping all relevant paperwork (Learning Journeys, daily records) up to date.
Partnerships: Build outstanding, collaborative relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies (including SEND professionals).
Safeguarding & Compliance: Maintain a safe, legally compliant environment, adhering strictly to Safeguarding, Child Protection (including Prevent Duty), and Health & Safety policies. Assist management with daily setting operations.
