Summary

The appointed consultant will join two existing heart failure and device specialists, working closely with the echocardiography and clinical measurement teams. Key responsibilities include: Delivering and expanding specialistheart failure and complex device services, including device implantation and followup. Developing a robustgeneral cardiology practicealongside subspecialty commitments. Contributing to the growth of advanced imaging services in line with NICE CG95 (if relevant to the candidates skillset). Participating in a1:6 / 1:10 general cardiology oncall rota, covering CCU and cardiology wards across sites. No general internal medicine commitment.
