The role As a Joiner Multi Skilled, (known internally as a Lead Joiner) you will carry out Kitchen Installation, reactive repairs, void re-instatement, planned maintenance and installation work across internal and external client properties. You will complete high-quality joinery work with due regard for safety, productivity and customer satisfaction, always acting as a positive representative of Progress Housing Group. You will also carry out associated multi-skilled trade work where required, helping complete jobs effectively and, where possible, in one visit. You will communicate clearly with customers, colleagues and stakeholders, treating customers and their homes with respect while explaining the nature and purpose of the work being carried out. Carry out associated trade works, such as plastering, rendering brickwork, plumbing, tiling, screeding, painting, in order to complete the job in one visit. Using appropriate tools and equipment provided by the organisation. Be aware of and adhere to all the relevant Building Regulations, Codes of Practice and Risk Assessments relevant to the trade. What we’re looking for Essential Recognised Trade Qualification (NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds) Full U.K Driving Licence Experience of multi-skilled work in the following areas - plumbing, plastering, brickwork, tiling and painting. Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety at work. Experience of dealing with people in a customer service environment. Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Desirable Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Working with or previously completed works for a Social Housing Landlord Aware of development needs and works towards achieving them.
