Summary

Senior Planning and Development Officer needed in Solihill

This is a temporary role and the rate is £19.81ph PAYE

The reference number is: RQ1751355

The successful candidate will take responsibility for monitoring, managing and reporting on Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 agreements, ensuring all financial and non‑financial obligations are accurately tracked, triggered and delivered in line with statutory requirements and organisational priorities.

They will oversee the full lifecycle of CIL processes — from collection and allocation through to spend — maintaining clear audit trails, robust governance and timely communication with internal teams, developers and external partners. They will proactively identify issues, support decision‑making on infrastructure funding, and provide clear, reliable data that enables effective planning and delivery, drawing on their practical experience of CIL and developer contributions even if they do not hold a formal planning qualification.
