Define the long-term data architecture and implement the technology required to support business growth

Build automated ETL/ELT pipelines across ecommerce platforms, CRM systems, finance platforms, wholesale channels and warehouse management systems

Establish robust data governance, ownership, documentation and quality standards

Create a scalable reporting environment that supports future expansion

Deliver meaningful commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making

Ensure reporting evolves as new markets, products and systems are introduced

Business Partnership

Act as the senior data leader across the organisation

Partner with Finance on commercial reporting, forecasting and board-level insight

Work alongside Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising and Operations to improve reporting and business performance

Identify opportunities where automation and better use of data can improve efficiency and profitability

Build and develop the future data function as the business continues to grow

About You

We're looking for an experienced data leader who combines strong technical capability with commercial awareness and enjoys building functions from the ground up.

You'll ideally have:

Experience building a data function, BI capability or enterprise data platform from scratch

Strong experience with SQL, modern data warehousing, ETL/ELT tools and BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar

Experience automating reporting and delivering self-service dashboards across multiple business functions

Experience integrating data from ecommerce, retail, wholesale, CRM, finance and operational systems

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership

Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to turn data into actionable business insight

Previous experience within a high-growth consumer products, retail, ecommerce, lifestyle or FMCG business would be highly advantageous

Experience leading teams or the ambition to build and lead a data function

Success in the Role

Within your first three months you'll:

Complete a full audit of the current data landscape

Design the future-state data architecture

Deliver quick-win reporting automations
