Summary
Test Automation & Continuous Testing Capability
To establish and operate a robust, code-driven test automation ecosystem using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python and Java, integrated seamlessly into the delivery lifecycle.
The role will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions and configure comprehensive test artefacts and reporting (e.g., Allure, Extent Reports) directly within the CI/CD pipeline, enabling clear visibility of test execution results, pass/fail trends, and quality metrics for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a scalable, maintainable, code-based test automation framework
Configure automated test reporting and dashboards within CI/CD pipelines to support real-time quality insights
Develop and execute programmatic API tests using tools and libraries such as RestAssured, Playwright APIContext, Postman, and Bruno
Validate microservices and server-side business logic independently of the user interface
Create advanced automation scripts to support:
Authentication and authorisation mechanisms (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT)
Test data seeding and environment setup
Database interaction across SQL and NoSQL platforms
Drive the transition from manual regression testing to fully automated Continuous Testing practices
Reduce regression testing cycles while improving test coverage, reliability, and release confidence
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC
