Personal Assistant Required – Part Time

Hours:6 hours per week (2 sessions of 3 hours per week)

Location: Hardwick

About the Role

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to support a younger gentleman to access the community, build confidence and enjoy a range of social activities.

This role is focused on providing encouragement, companionship and support to help him take part in activities he enjoys, while promoting independence in a safe and positive way.

About the Individual

The gentleman is looking to spend more time in the community and would benefit from support to enjoy activities such as:

• Going for walks
• Trips to the beach
• Playing pool
• Taking part in social activities

He would benefit from someone who can gently encourage participation, help build confidence and make activities enjoyable and relaxed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting access to the community and social activities
• Encouraging hobbies and interests
• Helping to build confidence and motivation
• Supporting positive social interaction
• Providing calm reassurance and gentle redirection where needed
• Ensuring a safe, supportive and engaging environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Positive, encouraging and proactive
• Friendly and approachable
• Empathetic and patient
• Able to build a trusting, supportive relationship
• Confident supporting social interaction

A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role will involve supporting the gentleman to access activities within the community.

Additional Information

• Experience is desirable but not essential

• This is a rewarding role supporting independence and confidence
