Summary

Warehousing / Postal Service Responsibilities To accept the delivery of all incoming goods for the various departments within the Hospital, including loan sets for theatres, samples and medications for Pathology and Pharmacy. Undertake delivery rounds to all relevant user points within the James Paget Hospital, delivery and collections of goods and stock in accordance with the Quality manual. Using the Oracle/Elcom systems to correctly book in and authorise payment by the Finance Department of goods received. Ensure all returns are dealt with effectively/promptly and records maintained. Ensuring the Postal service is maintained within the Trust.
