An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Head Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, purpose-built small animal practice in Rotherham. Offering a salary of £55,000 - £70,000 DOE, this role is ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years of UK GP experience who is looking to progress into leadership or further develop their management skills.

The Role
Working closely with the Head Vet, the successful candidate will combine a varied first-opinion caseload with leadership responsibilities, helping to mentor colleagues, maintain high clinical standards and support the continued growth of the practice.
The position is full-time, working 39 hours across four set days, with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. Flexible working patterns will also be considered.
The Practice
The successful candidate will join a supportive, collaborative team within a well-equipped practice featuring nine consulting rooms, four operating theatres, a dedicated dental suite, ultrasound, a 128-slice CT scanner, separate dog and cat wards, and excellent surgical facilities. Many of the team are studying towards postgraduate certificates, creating a positive learning environment.
