We are looking for a Part-time Learning Support Assistant - One on One Support, to join our friendly team in our Winton Centre. Please note this position may also be required to work from our Boscombe Centre subject to requirement.
This is a part-time role working 08:30–16:30, three days per week (Wednesday to Friday).
Job Description
-To support learners with LDD/SEND in a variety of classroom settings
-To provide one-to-one support as directed by the Head of Learning or the class tutor
-Provide learning support within a group and on an individual basis
-To act as a scribe/reader/exam invigilator as required
-To support students during breaks
-To contribute to learners' ILPs
-To work closely with team members to ensure that ILP targets are monitored and reviewed
-To be aware of individual learners’ risk assessments and needs
-To support learners to access transport and with travel training_
-To accompany learners during work experience placements, both on and off-site
-Accompany learners on outings, visits, community and recreational activities
-Encourage independence and self-help skills wherever possible.
-Keep records associated with the support role.
-To undertake any other duties relevant to the role as required
