A leading dealership in Wimbledon, London is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repair work on a range of vehicles

- Perform complex repairs, including electrical and electronic systems

- Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to manufacturer guidelines

- Mentor and support junior technicians within the workshop

- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies

- Complete service and repair documentation accurately and efficiently

- Assist in vehicle preparation for MOT testing (if qualified)

- Liaise with parts department to ensure availability of required components

- Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:

- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 2, or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician

- Proven experience within main dealerships or high-performing independent garages

- Strong diagnostic and electrical repair skills

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor colleagues

- Full UK driving licence

- MOT Testing qualification is desirable but not essential

- Passion for delivering high-quality customer service and vehicle standards
