We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of MOT Tester in Wimbledon, Greater London. Duties of the MOT Tester:

- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines and issue certificates

- Perform vehicle servicing, repairs, and fault diagnosis efficiently and accurately

- Maintain comprehensive records of all tests and repairs

- Advise customers on repair work and future maintenance requirements

- Keep up to date with changes in MOT regulations and vehicle technology

- Complete all work within set timeframes, adhering to health and safety standards

- Assist with vehicle inspections and provide expert mechanical and electrical advice as an MOT Tester

- Ensure quality workmanship and excellent customer service at all times

Requirements:

- MOT Class 4 qualification and Level 3 automotive qualification or equivalent

- Proven experience as a vehicle technician with relevant MOT testing experience preferred

- Sound mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

- Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service

- Full, clean UK driving licence

- Proactive team player capable of working independently

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
