Summary

Duties:

- Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across all makes and models

- Ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

- Accurately identify faults and provide effective solutions

- Maintain high standards of safety and compliance

- Complete relevant documentation and reports

- Work effectively under pressure to meet targets and deadlines

- Assist in workshop organisation and cleanliness

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy dealership or workshop environment

- Strong understanding of all vehicle makes and models

- Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)

- Time service qualifications are advantageous

- Demonstrable track record of delivering quality service and repairs

- Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and under pressure

- Flexibility to work across a varied schedule, including weekends

- Valid work eligibility; sponsorship available for fully qualified technicians

- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience preferred

- Motor Trade qualifications, including Master Technician status, are advantageous

Other Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Willingness to participate in overtime hours as required

- Excellent communication skills and team player attitude

- Commitment to continuing professional development
