Senior Process Development Technologist

We have an exciting brand-new opportunity for a Senior Process Development Technologist to join The Compleat Food Group in our

Transformation Projects team!

This is not your standard Site Process Technologist role. You will be supporting with inter-company product transfers, equipment

validations and shelf-life trials for exciting projects across the group, gaining multi-site exposure.

Location: Ebbw Vale based with additional travel to other sites across the group including occasional European travel

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 - 17:00, Friday, 8:30 - 16:00 (some flexibility required to support trials and product

launches)

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the delivery of Transformation NPD Projects across the group including inter-company product transfers of products

* Organise and execute product trials and support launches in line with critical path focusing on implementation into the

factory.   

* Liaison with key stakeholders at site and central teams.

* Preparation of trial including the support in scheduling and ordering, delivery and assessment of materials to agree quality

parameters.  

* Gather trial data and accountable for post-trial documentation and product panels.

* Organises sample request demands from internal & external sources.

* Complete required paperwork, nutritional data, micro data and factory specifications

* Continuous Improvement of Quality: Supports execution of quality agenda.

* Customer Interaction: Supports with customer samples, trial feedback and benchmarking panels.

What are we looking for?

* Process Development industry experience in chilled food manufacturing environment 

* HND/Degree in food based/manufacturing subject (desirable)

* HACCP / Food Safety qualification

* Planning, organisation, and project management

* Communicating at different levels of seniority

* Presentation skills

* Good computing skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams 

* A passion for food - product tasting is required across multiple categories 

* Problem solving

* Self-Motivated

* Flexible attitude

* Willingness to travel including occasional travel abroad (driving license essential)
