Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable care worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. You will support service users to maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing by assisting with daily living activities and promoting their individual needs, preferences, and rights.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing companionship and emotional support.
2. Assisting service users with mobility and safe movement.
3. Arranging and accompanying service users to medical and social appointments.
4. Monitoring service users' wellbeing and carrying out basic health observations where required.
5. Supporting with medication in accordance with care plans and company policies.
6. Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where needed.
7. Undertaking light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
8. Providing respectful personal care, including continence and incontinence care, while promoting dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
