Summary
About the Role: Our client is a highly respected, customer-focused haulier delivering palletised and trolley-based freight across the UK. Working through BARR Personnel, you will be assigned your own vehicle to complete deliveries safely and efficiently, primarily servicing building sites and garden centres.
Key Responsibilities:
Safe Transport: Transport goods locally and nationwide in Class 2 rigid vehicles.
Freight Handling: Manage pallet or plant trolley delivery and repatriation.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily walk-around safety checks and report defects.
Customer Service: Act as a professional ambassador for both Bacton and BARR Personnel on-site.
Compliance: Strictly adhere to EU driver hours, tachograph regulations, and road safety laws.
Guaranteed Hours: Minimum 10 hours guaranteed pay per day.
Weekly Pay: Reliable, steady weekly pay structure.
Overtime Rates: Enhanced pay applicable after 10 hours of work.
