Art, DT & Food Technician – Long-term temporary and ongoing, full-time, starting September 2026

Duties as Art,DT and Food Technician:

Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for Art, DT, and Food lessons
Supporting teachers during practical activities and demonstrations
Maintaining workshops, classrooms, and food preparation areas
Ensuring equipment is stored safely and maintained appropriately
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
Maintaining health and safety standards across all departments
Supporting students during practical learning activities where required

Ideal Art, DT and Food Technician:

Previous experience working as a technician, workshop assistant, or within a practical educational setting
Knowledge of Art, Design Technology, Food Technology, or catering environments
Strong organisational and time management skills
Understanding of health and safety requirements in practical subjects
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
