Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you: 

* Educated to degree level or can demonstrate relevant equivalent experience

* Teaching qualification or relevant equivalent qualification with demonstrable teaching experience.

* Excellent knowledge and practical experience of managing or leading a delivery area within the Ofsted Education Inspection

Framework (EIF).

* DSL Level 3 trained or willingness to undertake, with substantial experience of dealing with complex cases

* Demonstrable evidence of leadership and management development or skills 

* Significant experience of delivering programmes to support those on EHC Plans 

* An organised individual who can plan and monitor a varied workload

* Strong people skills which encourages others to work collaboratively

* Strong literacy skills with the ability to write clearly and effectively

* A flexible approach to work and the ability to meet challenges and adapt to change

* Ability to deal with challenging behaviour at times

* Being self-motivated, resilient, with a drive and determination to achieve results

* General awareness of health and safety and building management

* Strong IT skills, across multiple platforms, with an indepth knowledge of office tools, with an eye for detail that’s second to

none.

* Strong communicator with excellent customer service experience and skills

* Ability to work as a team, under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

* A good understanding of the barriers faced by people, and the solutions that may be able to benefit them

* Ability to work collaboratively with others, whether in the same team or external support providers

* You’re a positive, energised and enthusiastic person, with a real zest for helping others

* Resilience. Working in the education sector is a challenging but rewarding career. You’ll be helping to bring real change to

peoples’ lives.

What will make you stand out from the crowd:

* Qualified IQA Level 4, or working towards 

* Qualified Assessor for example Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or willingness to undertake

* MHFA

* Ofsted nominee experience

* Working with awarding bodies to develop qualifications to meet learner needs
