As the class teacher, you'll help pupils develop the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to achieve their full potential during their Key Stage 2 journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Planning learning that challenges, supports and motivates children of all abilities.
- Creating a positive classroom atmosphere where every child feels included and encouraged.
- Monitoring progress through regular assessment and adapting teaching to maximise achievement.
- Promoting excellent behaviour, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Working closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to deliver outstanding outcomes.
- Developing strong partnerships with parents and carers to support children's progress.
- Playing an active role in school events and contributing to the wider life of the school.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
- The ability to deliver engaging, well-paced and inclusive lessons.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A positive, reflective and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
