Our client, a reputable independent workshop in Manchester, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled professionals looking to advance their automotive career within a supportive, family-run environment. The Vehicle Technician role offers competitive remuneration, attractive shift patterns, and potential earnings up to £46,000 OTE.

- Working on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 6am to 6pm

Duties of a Vehicle Technician :

- Performing routine servicing in accordance with manufacturers' standards across various vehicle brands

- Diagnosing complex faults and conducting advanced mechanical repairs

- Supporting the workshop team with diagnosis and large repairs

- Ensuring all work meets quality standards and is completed efficiently

- Accurately recording diagnostic and repair data following workshop procedures

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician :

- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in automotive servicing or diagnostics

- Proven experience in vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and extensive repairs

- Confident working independently with a high level of attention to detail

- Full UK driving licence

- MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential

- Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to repairs
