Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. This is a key role for experienced motor trade professionals looking to advance their careers in a well-established and supportive environment.

Our client offers a Vehicle Technician position that combines excellent remuneration, ongoing development, and a focus on quality customer service.

Duties associated with the Vehicle Technician role:

- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid checks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment

- Perform complex repairs including engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and brake system replacements

- Carry out comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify faults and advise on necessary repairs

- Complete accurate service and repair documentation to high standards

- Adhere to all safety procedures within a busy workshop environment

- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology through ongoing training

- Deliver professional customer service by explaining repair needs clearly

Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:

- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a reputable automotive dealership or workshop

- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification

- MOT qualification is advantageous but not essential

- Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Full UK driving licence
