-Positions: Security Supervisorup to 56hr contracts are available (must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays when necessary)Hourly rate: £16.28 per hour, (breaks are paid, officers to remain on site)
-This position will be contracted to workinto weekdays, nights and weekends including bank holiday, and at shift pattern of 7 -3 - 7 - 4, days and night, (7am-7pm and 7pm -7am) Monday to Sunday.Mandatory- :
-Conduct dailybriefings each morning to relevant area/contract managers keeping informed of any overnight occurrences and action taken by on duty controllers. Ensuring that all positions are covered or any issues reported to the Group Managers
-Answering allqueries via telephone from officers and members of the Tfl Management Team in a polite and professional manner ensuring calls and messages are passed on as necessary.
-Supervise and manage the controlroom in the absence of the controller/supervisor
-Monitoring & Managementof the Building Safety and Security systems, Fire, Access System, CCTV, Lifts and other systems based in the control room
-Respond and process information relating to Assignment Incidents making sure reports are placed on the system and managementteam made aware
-Ensurethat all audit trails are maintained and documentation is filed and stored correctly
-Ensuring Health and safetycheck calls are monitored, and when appropriate escalate missed check call procedures for the wellbeing of officers on site.
-Recording allincidents received from client sites and entering details into the daily occurrence book, passing all information across to the Cluster Manager.
-Take responsibility for ensuring compliance withTfL and company procedures and practices, in particular proper completion of necessary reporting and recording systems, and control
-Ensurethat you fully complete the daily occurrence log, and that this is read and signed at the start and end of each shift. Complete any items not closed.
-Ensurethat the company accident records are completed, and that the Control Manager is informed of any lost time accidents
-Anyother reasonable request made from the management team adhering to the company
-EnsureCCTV systems are professionally, effectively and sensitively monitored in compliance with the Data protection legislation and TfL operating standards.
-Viewing CCTVfootage of incidents, collating related information, monitoring results and liaising with the Police and Building and Security Management Teams in line with the DPA
-Thatall CCTV and other systems (Fire/ Access and M/E) are fully operational and being monitored closely. Any faults are immediately reported to the BM team, your line manager and reported to Helpdesk
-Conduct and Monitor SafetyEquipment Inspections, reporting all deficiencies to Building Management and Customer Help Desk Facilities.
-Ensurethat appropriate training records are provided and completed by Security Officers and passing such records to your line manager within 24hrs of training/tests taking place
-Monitor and record securityofficer requirements for replacement uniforms and personal protective equipment as necessary.
-Manage the teamto deal with any suspicious packages, maintaining own and others safety and dealing with these in accordance with TfL procedures
-Ensurerotas are kept up to date and live. Seeking immediate cover for any sickness/leave or non‐ attendance, while keeping your line manager and Broadway scheduling team informed
-Carry out checks of staff SIA License, CompanyID, that staff are in full uniform, including correct footwear and dealing with anyone that is not following company Checks to take place at the start shift.
-Making sure thatno leave is placed on the system until fully covered by the line manager.
-Making sure thata clear handover is completed and brief entered in the DOB when taking over the control room duties ( Scheduler or Acting Supervisor or Control Room/Supervisor)

-5 years background check is compulsory.
-In date, SIA SecurityGuard or Door Supervisor licence
-First aid preferred, but we can provide training.
-Basic IT skills, ableto use a laptop, PC and Mobile phone.
-Must be ableto pass Police Vetting NPPV1 / CTC
-Free travel on London Transport (Tubes, Buses and TfLLondon Overground). This is non contractual.
-After 6 months if you are asked to workin main control rooms you could receive free CCTV training and licence

-To activelyuse the Merlin system for logging Patrols, Incident reports, Helpdesk reports and Daily Occurrence Book logs (training will be provided on the Merlin system)
-To conduct external and internal site patrols and checks of buildings and car parks.
-To carry out duties for Fire alarms and/or building evacuations
-To carry out tests of fire alarm systems(after training)
-To act as First aider (once trained)
-To supportevents taking place at SG or DS level
-To be aware of and ensurecompliance with all aspects of policies and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
-To fully and satisfactorily complete allof the tasks and duties on site as defined within Assignment Instructions (AI's), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Risk Assessments (RA's), Memos and Toolbox talks.
