Summary

You’ll support people in their own homes through personal care and daily living tasks, helping them stay safe, independent and well.

You’ll be part of a supportive community team, working alongside healthcare professionals, patients and families. This role makes a real difference by delivering high-quality care that respects each person’s needs, preferences and dignity.

What you’ll do:

 

• Provide personal care, including washing, dressing and meal support

• Administer medication and carry out basic observations within your training

• Support mobility and encourage independence in daily activities

• Maintain accurate records using electronic systems

• Work with colleagues and other services to ensure joined-up care

What we’re looking for:

 

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or similar experience

• Experience working in a care or health setting

• Strong communication skills with patients, carers and teams

• Ability to work independently and manage your own time

• Willingness to complete training such as Care Certificate or medication competency
