Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join our client's team in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to advance their career within a reputable accident repair specialist. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality panel repairs and replacements, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to industry standards.

Duties of a Panel Beater:

- Perform panel repairs and replacements with precision and attention to detail

- Detect and diagnose additional faults for further repairs as a Panel Beater

- Follow repair procedures in accordance with Thatcham, manufacturer, and insurance guidelines

- Conduct test welds and document results throughout the repair process

- Prepare damaged areas using body filler and sanding to a high standard

- Manage parts inventory, including storing reusable parts securely

- Ensure vehicle protection is maintained throughout the repair process

- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety compliance

- Report any damages or parts needing repair to the relevant departments promptly

- Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH requirements

- Complete repairs adhering to BS 10125 standards

Requirements of a Panel Beater:

- Proven experience as a Panel Beater within a bodyshop environment

- Ideally qualified to IMI or ATA standards

- Strong attention to quality and detail

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent team player with a positive attitude

- Full UK driving licence is preferred
