Summary

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join a busy recycling facility based on Landor Street, Birmingham (B8).

This is a full-time, ongoing position working on a rotating shift pattern. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating mobile plant machinery safely and efficiently, supporting the day-to-day operations of the recycling site.

Key Responsibilities:

. Operate a loading shovel to move, load and transport recyclable materials around the site.

. Operate a forklift truck (FLT) when required.

. Complete daily pre-use checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.

. Ensure all machinery is operated safely and in line with company procedures.

. Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

. Assist with general yard duties and recycling plant operations.

. Follow all site health and safety procedures at all times.
