Paragon Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Erdington from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
You will be working closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual targets within a supportive school environment.
The Role
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and EHCP targets.
Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
