Summary
At the Poppy's Family of Nurseries, we're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of one of our nursery settings.
As Deputy Manager, you'll work alongside the Nursery Manager to help lead the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring children receive exceptional care and early education within a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment. You'll play an important role in leading practice, supporting and developing colleagues, promoting a strong safeguarding culture and ensuring the nursery maintains high standards of quality and compliance.
You'll also deputise for the Nursery Manager when required, helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive environment where children, families and colleagues can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day leadership and operation of the nursery.
Deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence.
Lead by example and promote high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS.
Support, coach and develop colleagues to achieve their full potential.
Promote a strong safeguarding culture and support safeguarding practice across the setting.
Build positive relationships with children, families and external professionals.
Support quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement.
Help create a positive, supportive and inclusive team culture.
