Summary
At the Poppy's Family of Nurseries, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to lead one of our nursery settings.
As Nursery Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the nursery, ensuring children receive outstanding care and early education within a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment. You'll lead and develop your team, promote a positive safeguarding culture, build strong relationships with families and ensure the nursery consistently delivers high standards of quality, compliance and care.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting staff development and creating an environment where children, families and colleagues can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operation of the nursery.
Inspire, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Ensure outstanding standards of care, education and safeguarding.
Promote high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS.
Build positive relationships with children, families and external professionals.
Oversee staffing, occupancy, compliance and operational performance.
Monitor quality, lead improvements and prepare for inspections.
Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive team culture.
