Pay: £105-£115 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming and supportive specialist SEN school in Newton Heath is seeking a dedicated and confident Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, or someone with a strong interest in supporting pupils with additional needs within a specialist education setting.
You will be responsible for supporting pupils across the school by delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive, structured learning environment in the absence of the class teacher. Working closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff, and the wider school team, you will help ensure pupils remain engaged, supported, and able to access their learning.
The successful candidate will have a calm and consistent approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
