We're recruiting on behalf of a busy freight forwarding company in Abingdon for a reliable and hardworking individual to join their warehouse team on a temp-to-perm basis.This is a hands-on role offering stable hours, weekly pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a supportive team.What's on OfferTemp to PermWeekly PayMonday to Friday09:00 – 19:001 hour unpaid breakOn-site parkingImmediate start availableThe RoleWorking as part of the warehouse and forklift team, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of daily warehouse operations. Duties will include:Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently. (Full training can be provided)Assisting the morning forklift team during busy periods.Supporting the Warehouse Manager with general warehouse duties.Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.Helping to keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.Unloading returning vehicles at the end of the day.Preparing freight for the overnight trunk vehicles alongside another Forklift Driver.Following health and safety procedures at all times.What We're Looking ForValid Counterbalance Forklift licence or previous forklift experience.Previous warehouse experience.Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.Positive attitude with a willingness to assist across all warehouse operations.Good awareness of health and safety within a warehouse environment.If you're looking for a secure opportunity with the potential to become permanent and enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, we'd love to hear from you.
