This is an exciting new role created to support Transport for London in their requirement to provide CCTV for Non-Crime incidents that occur on the London Underground network. The CCTV Data Administrator will be based in Central London and travel across the network as required. A travel pass will be provided. The CCTV Data Administrator will report to their Mitie line manager but will have a direct link to the client for training, tasking and support. The analyst will have to complete SIA, CCTV Level 2, Sentinel and GDPR and LU-IWA training. System familiarisation will be undertaken by the LU CCTV Data Manager.

The role will incorporate a 9-hour shift with which includes a one-hour unpaid refreshment break and will not usually be rostered for nights/weekends/bank holidays.

The role will be on a six-month secondment basis with the successful applicant returning to their role at the end of the secondment period.

Main Duties:

-To undertake CCTV downloads to support incident investigations, this will involve some station visits as well as remote systems. The support provided will assist incident investigations following requests from London Underground safety teams and external safety regulatory bodies. Processing of requests which will usually be received via a Microsoft Azured Platform but could also be received via email. The Microsoft Azure Platform will be an automated solution but will require the candidate to undertake certain administrative tasks. The candidate will therefore need to work alongside existing LUL staff from the CCTV team in order to action any items that are flagged. Most CCTV retrievals will be automated but there may be occasions that a manual download is required, and a different process will need to be followed. The right candidate will need to be proficient in a number of software systems, for which training will be provided. As much of the work will involve the use of IT Based systems, the candidate should have a good overall knowledge of data and cybersecurity and will need to ensure that they manage data in accordance with TfL data security policies.

-To provide written witness statements and attend court if necessary.

-To capture, process, log accurately and help to provide data (evidence) in accordance with DPA, and other instructions and procedures.

-To operate the CCTV system in accordance with the legislation regarding the use of CCTV and the systems Code of Practice, Operational Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and any other instructions issued by Transport for London

-To ensure all logs, reports and records are produced accurately and promptly.

-To liaise daily with Evidence Manager and provide a daily schedule of work.

-To maintain strict privacy when engaged in your role.

-To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner and comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

-To undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required.

-Comply with ISO 27001 standards and procedures.

-Meeting individually set KPIs.

-Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.

Essential

-Applicants must have a 5-year checkable history.

-Ability to pass a PSNI check as per BS5979 and BS7858 screening as per industry standard.

-Basic understanding of Data Protection and Human Rights (privacy)

-Good experience with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and an aptitude for IT systems

-Excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of motivation and be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

-Ability to manage workload to meet team deadlines.

-A willingness to learn and develop and show high level of commitment and professionalism.

-To ensure strict compliance with Transport for London Drug and Alcohol policy

-Pre-employment requirement to pass a medical assessment

-Hold or pass an SIA Public Space CCTV Licence and maintain current licence.

-Ability to input accurately and update and retrieve Data.

-Ability to communicate clearly and accurately orally and in writing

Hours and Rate

Monday to Friday 9-hour shifts - with an occasional personal flexibility agreed with your line manager to adjust hours and days upon request.
