We are recruiting two Assistant Psychologists to join the West London Forensic Service, one of the UK's leading forensic mental health providers. One post is based in the Orchard Unit, the largest NHS provider of women's low and medium secure services, and the other in the Male Low Secure Service.

Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will support psychological assessments, formulation, care planning and the delivery of evidence-based interventions, including DBT and CBT. The role involves working directly with service users in individual and group settings, while contributing to audit, research and service development under the supervision of qualified psychologists.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop clinical skills, gain experience of complex mental health presentations, and strengthen your experience for future Clinical or Forensic Psychology training.

Working within a specialist forensic mental health service, you will support the delivery of psychologically informed care under the supervision of qualified Clinical and Forensic Psychologists.

You will assist with psychological assessments, formulation, care planning and the delivery of evidence-based interventions. The role includes direct work with service users through individual therapeutic sessions and co-facilitating psychological groups to support recovery.

You will contribute to service evaluation, audit, research and quality improvement projects, including collecting and analysing data, maintaining clinical records, preparing reports and monitoring clinical outcomes.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will liaise with a range of professionals and demonstrate strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. The post provides varied clinical experience and opportunities to develop knowledge of forensic mental health, psychological therapies and service development.

This role is well suited to individuals seeking experience to support future training and careers in Clinical or Forensic Psychology. Regular supervision and professional development are provided within a well-established Psychology Service.
