Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Aldershot. This opportunity is ideal for experienced motor trade professionals seeking a role within a reputable, family-run car garage that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The Vehicle Technician role offers a structured working environment with excellent benefits and prospects for career progression.

Benefits:

- Competitive basic salary of £40,000 per annum

- Monday to Friday working hours, from 8:00 am to 5:15 pm, excluding weekends and late shifts

- No weekend or Saturday work

- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays

- Opportunity to work on multiple vehicle brands within an independent workshop

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a variety of brands

- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer standards

- Utilise workshop ramps and specialist equipment effectively

- Complete detailed job reports and communicate effectively with colleagues

- Support workshop team operations to ensure smooth daily workflow

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- Level 3 qualification as a Vehicle Technician or Fast Fit Technician

- Proven experience working on multi-brand vehicles

- Practical knowledge of diagnostics and repairs

- Ability to work independently in a busy workshop environment

- Excellent time management and attention to detail

- Immediate availability is preferred
