Summary

We are currently seeking a Service Manager / Front of House Manager to join a reputable car garage in Dulwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to progress their career within a busy, customer-focused environment. Our client is offering a friendly working atmosphere and stable working hours, making this an attractive position for experienced individuals in the automotive industry.

- Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum

- OTE of £40,000 with potential for performance-based bonuses

- Monday to Friday working hours, 8am - 6pm

- Rotational Saturday mornings, approximately once every two weeks

Duties of the Service Manager:

- Lead and manage the front of house team, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing professional and friendly service

- Oversee workshop operations and liaise with technicians and service advisors

- Manage service booking schedules and ensure timely completion of work

- Uphold company standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Assist with staff training and mentoring as needed

- Monitor service quality and implement improvements

Requirements of the Service Manager:

- Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar senior customer service role within an automotive workshop or dealership

- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

- Full UK driving licence is essential

- Local individuals within 5 miles of Dulwich are preferred

- Prior experience managing customer relations and workshop operations is advantageous
