Summary

Respiratory Manager – Transformation and practice educator

 

The responsibilitiesofRespiratory Transformation Manager / Practice Educatorwill be sharedbetweentwoareas1. Managingserviceprovision/ operationalmattersand2. Training/ qualityassurance within the respiratory diagnostic service. The post holders will report to the General Manager for Respiratory and Cardiology.

 

The post holder will contribute to demand and capacity planning, supporting the development and use of accurate activity and capacity modelling and working with senior colleagues to inform service configuration and delivery. They will support workforce planning across their portfolio, using available data and workforce intelligence to identify staffing requirements, monitor sickness and turnover trends, and contribute to the development of roles and ways of working that meet current and future service needs.

 

The post holder will support operational and financial performance through the maintenance of effective performance management processes, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency, productivity and value for money. They will assist in ensuring compliance with national access, quality and productivity standards, and contribute to service improvement and transformation programmes aligned to Divisional and Trust priorities

 

To provide clinical expertise, leadership and staff training for the delivery of the lung function testing service for Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.
