Summary

Bank staff members can be offered to work within any of the rotations listed below. 

A Band 6 physiotherapy post allows an experienced physiotherapist with existing broad postgraduate knowledge and skills to further develop their expertise and develop specialised clinical skills in the area of acute and chronic paediatrics. Rotations may include neurorehabilitation, general medical/respiratory, selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR), oncology, neurodevelopment, rheumatology and MSK out-patients but maybe subject to change.

Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is a Tertiary hospital receiving the most complex referrals, from both local and national centres.

 

A Band 3 Therapy Assistant works with registered physiotherapists and occupational therapists in their day-to-day work, helping paediatric patients to follow treatment programmes and keeping records of patient contacts. This role includes activities to support the work of therapists such as ordering/maintaining stock, cleaning equipment and inputting statistical data.

Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is a Tertiary hospital receiving the most complex referrals, from both local and national centres.

You must be an effective team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Bank work is available on a demand led basis and we would need candidates to have availability to deliver shifts if required.
