Summary
Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Supporting with mobility and safe moving and handling where required
Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration
Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans and policies
Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with daily household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
Supporting clients to attend appointments and engage in social activities where appropriate
Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client’s health or wellbeing
Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with families and healthcare professionals
Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect at all times
You will be living with the client and becoming a trusted and valued part of their daily life.
