Summary

Support in providing faith-based hospitality and welfare service by ushering in congregants and visitors,

* assisting with religious services and events, and supporting spiritual welfare through community visits, spiritual guidance, and wellbeing initiatives aligned with faith-based groups.”

* offering support and ensuring safety standards are met, checking and ensuring that the hall is habitable with all electrical fittings and toilets working perfectly.

* It often involves supporting events, coordinating support services, and fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere in churches, workplaces, or community settings.

* Supporting the organisation of services, festivals, and faith gatherings

* Helping to create an inclusive, respectful environment aligned with the faith’s values

* Spiritual support to congregation members (listening, guidance, prayer support)

* Visiting elderly, vulnerable, or unwell members of the faith community

* Assisting with faith-based counselling under supervision of senior clergy

* Supporting wellbeing initiatives rooted in religious teaching

* Helping individuals integrate into the religious community (especially newcomers or migrants of the same faith)

* Assisting with communication (newsletters, announcements, event coordination)

Qualifications:

The candidate must be a Christian with Pentecostal background and

Must be proficient in hospitality, maintenance and welfare skills

Ability to work on initiative, self-manage as well as work within a team

High energy a nd a positive attitude

Strong motivation and empathy towards the aims and objectives of CLASS UK

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate in a Nigerian Language is desirable.

Duration of employment: 1-2 year fixed term contract. Full time (30 hours) over 5 days which includes evenings and weekends.

Salary: £18,500
