The Devonshire Group comprises charities and businesses throughout the UK and Ireland, including Chatsworth, which sits within the

Sussex.
The businesses include heritage attractions, shops, restaurants and luxury accommodation at Chatsworth, Bolton Abbey and in
Lismore Castle in Ireland. The estates include tenanted businesses and residential property, a property development business with
a pipeline of 2000 homes, sustainable forestry and farming businesses and an estate farm shop at Chatsworth.
The vision of the Devonshire Group is to benefit our heritage, our people and our shared future. Each generation of the Devonshire
Family is guardian of the fundamental values that enable our enterprises and charities to prosper.
About the role
If you are enthusiastic about simplifying complex processes, unlocking the power of Microsoft 365, and designing solutions that
genuinely improve people’s working lives this could be the role for you. Due to an internal promotion, we’re looking for a
Solutions Delivery & Automation Lead to play a key role in modernising how the Devonshire Group operates.
This is a hands-on, influential role where you’ll design and deliver joined-up, cloud-based business systems that reduce manual
effort, improve efficiency, and enhance the experience of both colleagues and guests. You’ll be our go-to specialist for Microsoft
365, automation and modern integration, helping shape how technology supports the Group now and in the future.
What you’ll be doing
In this diverse role you will:
• Design and deliver user-focused, modern business solutions aligned to the Group’s technology roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of applications, automation and system integrations, from design through to rollout.
• Use Microsoft 365, Power Platform and automation to streamline processes, reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Create secure, reliable integrations and maintain a joined-up, well-connected applications landscape.
• Partner with colleagues across the Group to understand needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Build and support Power Apps and Power Automate workflows that enhance productivity and data quality.
• Explore and apply AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve efficiency, insight and user experience.
• Drive continuous improvement by modernising systems, retiring legacy tools and promoting modern ways of working.
Hours and location
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 5-days from either the Chatsworth Estate Office, near Edensor, Derbyshire
or from Bolton Abbey, near Skipton, Yorkshire (with one day at least working from the Derbyshire office), depending on your
location. Hybrid working will be available with flexibility to meet business needs. There will be some travel to other
Devonshire Group locations.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll bring a strong mix of technical expertise, practical delivery experience and a people-focused approach. You’ll have a
proven background in designing and delivering business systems, workflows and integrations, with excellent working knowledge of
Microsoft 365, particularly SharePoint Online, Power Automate and cloud-based solutions. You’ll be comfortable taking solutions
from concept through to implementation, including configuration, migration and integration, and have a solid understanding of
modern integration methods such as APIs, middleware and file transfers. Crucially, you’ll be able to translate business
requirements into clear, workable technical designs that support modern ways of working.
Alongside your technical capability, you’ll be an effective communicator and collaborator, able to engage colleagues with varying
levels of digital confidence. You’ll bring experience of supporting, mentoring or managing others in an inclusive and supportive
way, and an awareness of security, identity and infrastructure considerations in cloud environments.
Why join us
You’ll join a supportive and friendly IT team within a values-led organisation that genuinely cares about its people. You’ll play
a key role in helping the IT function operate effectively and professionally across a diverse, multi-site organisation.
We offer a range of benefits including a wellbeing calendar of events, an onsite gym and swimming pool, and a Colleague Pass
providing free access to Chatsworth for you and your guests, plus discounts across Devonshire Group hotels, shops and restaurants.
Details of our employee benefits can be found here: https://devonshiregroup.co.uk/work-with-us/working-at-the-devonshire-group/
We are a values-led organisation. We believe in: always improving, decency, and being inclusive.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend a 2-stage selection process.
