Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and dynamicEstates Senior Property and Leasing Managerto join our Estates & Facilities team.

This is akey senior roleresponsible for leading the operational and tactical management of the Trust’s diverse property portfolio, including LIFT, PFI and leasehold estate. You will play a vital role in ensuring our estate isoptimised, financially efficient, and fit for the future, supporting the delivery of high-quality care environments for patients, staff and visitors.

🔑About the Role

You will:

• Leadcomplex lease negotiations, renewals, and landlord discussions, ensuring best value for money

• Manage a varied portfolio includingLIFT, PFI and leasehold arrangements

• Overseerent, service charge and property budgets, maintaining strong financial control

• Lead onHeads of Terms developmentand strategic property decisions

• Driveestate optimisation and portfolio reviews, supporting long-term planning

• Managelease events, including break clauses, expiries and rent reviews

• Provide expert advice tosenior leaders and stakeholders across the Trust

• Lead and deliverproperty-related projects and workstreams

• Deputise for theHead of Land & Propertywhen required

We’re looking for someone with:

• Significant experience inproperty, estates or portfolio management

• Proven track record inlease negotiation and landlord/tenant management

• Experience working withLIFT, PFI or complex contractual frameworks

• Strongcommercial awareness and financial management skills

• Ability to leadcomplex projects and influence senior stakeholders

• Knowledge ofstatutory compliance and NHS estates frameworks (HTMs/HBNs)

• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline

• Professional membership (or working towards) such asRICS, CIOB, IWFM or APM
