Summary

Our client, a reputable independent garage located in Bromsgrove is actively seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their modern workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for a stable position in a well-established environment with work hours that support a healthy work-life balance.

Benefits:

- Basic salary of £37,500 - £42,000, depending on experience

- Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am – 5:00pm), with no weekend work

- 28 days holiday including bank holidays

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs

- Diagnose complex faults using advanced diagnostic equipment

- Complete work efficiently and to a high standard as a Vehicle Technician

- Perform vehicle health checks and identify additional repair needs

- Assist with MOT preparation where required

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

- Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Confident in clutch and cambelt repairs

- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Full UK driving licence
