Summary

We are seeking an experienced and fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, premium franchise-approved car dealership in Cardiff.

The successful Vehicle Technician will work within a busy Service Department, maintaining high standards of vehicle repair and diagnostics in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a diverse range of vehicles

- Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer and dealership quality standards

- Accurately diagnose faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller

- Maintain vehicle safety, reliability, and performance standards

- Follow all health and safety procedures relevant to the role

- Maintain high standards of customer care and workmanship

- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet workload targets

- Keep detailed records of work carried out and ensure compliance with warranty processes

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Ideally 1-2 years practical experience post-qualification

- Hold a valid UK driving licence

- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Cardiff

- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed team player

- Capable of maintaining high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

- Motivated to work towards team targets and continuous development
