Summary

A leading dealership group in Cardiff, South Wales, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career within the largest car dealer group in South Wales.

- Starting salary approximately £28,300 per annum, dependent on experience and brand accreditations

- Uncapped monthly bonus potential, resulting in an OTE of £33,000 - £34,000 per annum

- Overtime paid at time and a half

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Welcome customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for repairs

- Liaise extensively with the workshop to monitor repairs and progress updates

- Advise customers on minor technical issues and up-sell additional products and services

- Provide excellent customer service via strong communication skills

- Take payments for completed work and ensure customer satisfaction

- Keep customers informed of vehicle repair progress

- Assist in achieving dealership targets and objectives

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturer contacts

- Support warranty procedures and liaise with the manufacturer as required

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar within the motor industry

- Outstanding communication and customer service skills

- Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency (experience with Kerridge/Drive/RTC systems advantageous but not essential)

- Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures advantageous but not essential

- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points

- Confident relationship-building abilities and a professional attitude
