HGV Class 1 DriverWe are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a well-established company that is a leading supplier of pallet and wood recycling services. The company has been operating successfully across the UK for over 30 years and offers stable, ongoing work for the right candidate.The RoleYou will be driving a flatbed vehicle completing single runs (no multi-drop). The role involves delivering and collecting wooden products across the Midlands and nationwide.This is a varied role where you will be required to secure loads using ratchet straps, so previous experience with flatbed work and strapping is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate an HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicleDeliver and collect wooden products across the UKSecure loads using ratchet straps and ensure safe transportationComplete daily vehicle checksEnsure all paperwork is completed accuratelyAdhere to all road transport and safety regulationsRequirementsValid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licenceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardMaximum of 6 penalty pointsPrevious flatbed / strapping experience essentialSafety boots and hi-vis vest requiredReliable, professional and safety-conscious attitudeHours of Work06:00 – 16:00 shiftsApproximately 55–65 hours per week5–6 day working patternHow to ApplyApply today via Indeed to be considered for this position.
